The bird, bird, bird yes, the bird is the word!

A brief request: does anyone have any recommendations for an Android twitter app? Must be able to handle multiple accounts.

Beyond that, I've never used twitter other than on t'web or via sms, so don't really know what I want.

Tweetdeck appears to be moderately non-hateful.

It seems to be moderately confusing at present. It has an obsession with "columns". Whatever they are, in context.

Beyond that, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it :)

I use Tweetdeck on quite a wide monitor so I can see several columns at once... might be a bit frustrating using it on a handheld device? (Unless you just shun the columns, which would be entirely fair.)

You can sort of scroll the screen sideways and see one column at a time - which works out OK (now that I've deduced that's what a "column" is and how you get to them!)

Doesn't seem to be doing things very well in general, though. Doesn't update number of followers, doesn't tell you someone new's followed you, and really doesn't seem to cope all that well with doing anything for your "non default" account...

I use Seesmic, which is a) good and b) free, and I think can handle multiple accounts. But I've never tried, as I only have one, so can't vouch for that last point.

I'm currently trying TweetDeck, but have also had other recommendations for Seeismic. So that'll be my next port of call if I'm too dim to grasp TweetDeck's more complicated aspects!

I use twidroyd, according to their website they do multiple accounts in the free version.

Hello! I'd no idea you were still LJing :)

If SocialScope on Android is even half as good as it is on BlackBerry, it's the way to go.

The only problem is that I have no idea how to get you an invitation code to it.
