She laughed when I told her I was seriously hurt

Bother.

I probably don't have time this weekend to visit Hendricks Horseless Carriage of Curiosities in London, but I charge anyone who does have the time to visit it on my behalf.

Even as someone who regards gin with a little suspicion I think Hendricks' is flaming marvellous. And anyone who's going to set up temporary lunatic exhibtions like that is alright in my book.

Oooh. They mention G&T glow in the dark jelly....Actualy its wrong as its UV reactive and you need the blacklight to make it shine, but even still, what an awesome idea !

Made G&T jelly once or twice. The trick to keep it a bit fizzy is to add cold (still fizzy) tonic to the jelly mixture (made with hot water) once already nicely mixed. And not too much gin or it goes all melted.

Sounds interesting. Thanks for the tip.

From what i've seen of other alcoholic jelly, the best vodka one i had was made with pectin (vegan host). That set solid, well wobbly solid anyway !

Unlikely to get to the exhibition, but the recipe sounds fantastic!

Ooh! I do like Hendricks and I love the sound of that recipe.

Hendricks' has indeed displaced Bombay Sapphire as my G&T spirit of choice.
