The mother has got herself a LiveJournal.

I live in terror of my mother getting a Facebook account. There's just so much I don't want her to know.

My mother-in-law has a Facebook account, but after seeing a couple of pictures of one of her nieces in a rather inebriated state she has sworn off looking at any of the photo galleries.

If only FB had as fine grained filter control as LJ...
