Euro-election is a radio button (closed party list), county council elections are a bit more tickybox (multiple-vote FPP). I don't know about anything else: there are some mayoral elections going on.
I believe some countries have STV for their MEPs, but we don't.
-ve: I'm on a training course, so I left in a hurry. +ve: It should end earlier than my usual working hours, so no problem nipping to the end of the road and checking that box.
Heh - you know what I'm like about tickyboxes ... [grin]
am registered to vote in a place about seven hours and £150 round trip from where I am, and did not get organised enough to sort out a postal vote. This is largely because I didn't think a single vote for a party mattered very much. However, now that I realise that a vote against a party is very important, I will certainly be careful to register for a postal vote before next time.
Whatever happened to the Monster Raving Loony Party? There seemed to be just about every other option on the 18" Euro voting form, including some which made a lot less sense than the MRLP...

(You didn't have a ticky box for this option.)
