Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... eh?

I'm off to see a bunch of bands playing in Camden.
It's Doors at 3, and I'm still in bed. I wonder if I'll make it in time?

Good thing: the relevant station is Mornington Crescent. This makes me happy.
Bad thing: it seems Attrition have pulled out. Pants. I've never seen them, but have heard good things about them.

Best get up, I suppose.

Mornington Crescent

Mornington Crescent - I hope thats open on a Sunday (it never used to be - you'd never guess I grew up on the far end of the northern line, eh?). Be careful, otherwise you might end up in Nip!

It was open when I got there. Wasn't open when I left. But then, the tubes had stopped running, so it wasn't unreasonable.

Nip ?

Nip ?

Players of the game Mornington Crescent may end up in 'Nip' if they make a strategically bad move. I thought you knew that. Of course full details can be found in the published rules.

The Damned gig? Did you make it?

And next time you're doing something like that, let me know. I'm sure I could manage to be interested.

Yup, made it.

What constitutes "something like that" ? I don't go to see The Damned very often.

You're probably better off applying to [livejournal.com profile] davefish - he's usually the gig-database, ticket-purchaser and organiser. I just turn up :)

Uh yes.

The gig. Yes, that's what I meant. Really.

doors at 3, yeah right.
4 was more like it, not at all that I'm a bit gutted that I stood in the cold for an hour when there was a perfectly good pub * sat nearby.

* Well the purple turtle is more mediocre, but it is still a pub.

It was excellent but the Damned came off stage at 11:50 or so.

I don't think you know me, but you add interesting posts and do good things (have been meaning to do a photography course for some time).

I also know Catt (I went to Prague with her and Dave Fish), Dave Fish, Morph, Fluffy Mark and Sheridan.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to get you to justify your presence on my LJ :) Just that, having noticed we seem to have a few friends in common, I wondered if you were someone I'd met but not matched a name to...

Thanks, though :)

<smug>

So turning up just before 4 was good, then ?

Good gig. Shame about the techincal hitches...

Do I know you, by the way ? Or would I recognise you if I saw you ? (Your name doesn't look familiar...)
