I wasn't feeling at my best yesterday. I was easily outwitted by inanimate objects and prone to confusion.

Of late, I have found myself doing some work for which MSDN (Microsoft's technical support site) is the primary reference. MSDN and I are not friends. I object to its slow loading, its lack of coherent organisation policy and unhelpful content. It retaliates by hiding my cursor at every opportunity and showing me random pages I didn't request.

Yesterday, it took advantage of my feeble-minded state and tried to make me doubt my own sanity:

Don't know if this is your kind of thing, but it's the Great British Cheese Festival this weekend in Frilford.

Don't know why I'm pimping it... somethings people were just not meant to know.

I was easily outwitted by inanimate objects

Sadly, I think the Daily WTF are only really interested in things like that if you've got a shot of the entire screen, in context. In my enfeebled mental state I didn't think to keep a proper screenshot.

The same page (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms927178.aspx) is behaving perfectly (if smugly) today.

Who is this Ted, and why do you need to know what his equivalents are? If I ever meet him I'll give him a good telling off on your behalf. Grr.

There's no such thing as an inanimate object.
