Glastonbury by sms

A smartly uniformed marching band just passed, playing Seven Nation Army on kazoos.

Okay, what have you been drinking &c.

(it looks mudy in the reports, but I still have festival-envy)

Seems fair, since I'm pretty sure Jack White does use a kazoo pedal on that track.

They were called MASTERS OF THE KAZOONIVERSE. I think I'd just like to say that again: MASTERS OF THE KAZOONIVERSE.

What a great name. I'd want to say it twice, too.

You made it to Glasto, then ? I thought I saw half of AddedEntry's face at one point (leaning on the stage during the Broken Family Band's set?) but when the crowd thinned out neither of you were to be seen.

Yes, we made it! I was posting updates to twitter & flickr throughout, haven't got round to writing an account for LJ yet though. I'm sorry we didn't see you there... we managed to meet up with some people but it was all a bit of a faff. A very muddy faff.

And we weren't leaning on the stage for the BFB, we were right at the edge of the tent. We did enjoy them though! Hope you did too. :-)

I saw them too, up on the railway track. They were being followed by a chicken and an egg.

They were being followed by a chicken and an egg.

Which came first ?

That was the thing, they kept swapping places.
