Geek help needed

Does anyone have any experience of building Eclipse plug-ins using command line scripts ?

No, thought not :(

I'm trying to follow these instructions, but it's not going well and I fear I've fundamentally misunderstood something. If anyone's done such a thing successfully and could answer a couple of questions I'd be most grateful.
