Well, having been at Whitby listening to bands all weekend, I trundled merrily down the M1... and went to a gig.

Gently down the stream

Tomorrow evening, after work, I shall be driving up the M1 to Whitby for a festival. Why yes, thank you, I have noticed that I only came from there on Monday. Bit of a calendar failure when I organised May. This time it's a folk festival. I've ironed some shirts and polished my boots so I can turn up without disgracing Mabel.

( But Mabel is going to get me into a lot of trouble... )

This is just to say that those rather nice chaps, The Crimea, have put the whole of their recent album up for download.

A whole, studio-quality album for nowt. And it's even quite a good album, too, first listen suggests.

Anyone particularly enthusiastic should shell out for their cracking first album, as well. And in fact they're really good live, and touring, so you should go and see them.
