Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf ?

At the weekend, I was at a minor folkfestival. I briefly left the scene of the hedonistic dancing to buy myself some pie. Bowling up to Waitrose' deli, I asked for a slice of chicken-and-ham pie, and was slightly surprised when the guy serving pulled his white hat further down over his eyes, and muttered "Of course. So long as they don't come back."
