Photo suggestions?

If I have any spare time this week <SFX: hysterical laughter>, I might get round to putting my photos from News Zealand, York and Orleans on-line. Only I've never done such a thing before, and have very little idea how one goes about it.

I have some webspace, which I think will be sufficient to put a few photos on, but I've no idea what software I want to go about using to make things nice and thumbnaily, and easily viewable.

Any suggestions?

That's the usual answer anyway. There's a free trial version, so you can "try it out" on your photos.

Well, I've just set up my domain, and have 200 free MBs of webspace if you want to upload stuff there. Plus there's paint shop pro installed on my PC at work if you're interested.

I second PSP. You can now get version 7 for £37 from Amazon, and it's well worth it. You can have so much fun playing around with it if you're remotely interested in pretty pictures.

...is that as an addiction, it leads to Adobe Photoshop, and then to Illustrator. :)

But I'll agree, it's probably the best sort of thing for what you want to do. If you need any practical help, you can stop by: I have scanner, pen tablet, and a load of other stuff I bought cheap off my old employer, and can help you out.
