Oh, and Dad asked me to pass on his own thanks to everyone who's been leaving him kind thoughts and wishes on here.

Sadly, I think the mother has become jealous of the attention since she managed to engineer her own trip to casualty this morning. She assures me it was only a minor case of having to have her head glued back together. Honestly, you just can't get the parents these days, can you ?

Aye ... You can't ... Mine seem to have gone incommunicado. Mother wasn't answering the phone at the alloted Monday chin-wagging time yesterday.Fortunately my brother was able to confirm there was no immediate cause for concern ...

She may have been speaking figuratively, but I think A&E go in for those mysterious gluey things (steri-strips?) instead of good old stitches these days.

It's genuine, surgical glue and I can't wash my hair for FIVE days. My hair's not quite as long as Venta's, but I can at least screw it up in a bun to hide the grot, it's the itching I can't stand!
