Young men, there's a place you can go

Lucky Dip report #3:

The Disassociatives - Young Man, Old Man (You Ain't Better Than The Rest)

Again, I'm slightly cheated in that this is only a single - adding insult to injury, it's a single which doesn't even have a B-side to bless itself with.

As songs go, it's nice enough - fairly standard middle of the road indie-rock. It kind of went past without me noticing much. Inoffensive, but probably not worth 79p.

I think we're all getting how the scam works now. They've sold you a stack of singles.

Horrible vision of orange plastic cheese slices being put in a CD player there...

not what I wanted first thing in the office. Think I'd better go make a cuppa.

Er... I don't see how it's a scam. All they claimed was in the bag was "ten CDs". At least half of them seem to be albums, and to be honest ten singles for a quid wouldn't be a bad deal anyway.

Yeah, fair point. I suppose they could all have been AOL install CDs - that would really have sucked.
