Please send me spam...

... er, yes, really.

If anyone's got any examples of threatening chain e-mails[*] they've received recently, please can they chuck them in my direction ? I'm not after icky sentimental lets-all-share-the-love chains, Nigerian wotsits or mails which just request you to forward them to everyone you know.

I'm going to send the chain mails to my mother. No, she hasn't upset me - but she's wanting some more examples because she's writing an article about them

[*] Threatening in the sense of "if you don't send this to six million people in the next three minutes, your hamster will explode".

My poor hamster!

Aye. And the worrying this it that however many different people don't respond to the chain, it's still your hamster which will explode.

The bastards. Won't somebody think of the hamster?

When does she need them by? I get these things occasionally from friends who Should Know Better but I tend to delete them immediately*; so I'll gladly forward them if I get them but I don't have any hanging around.

* My hamster** has never exploded.
** I do not actually have a hamster.

Er, next couple of days, I think.

I also delete them, usually unread, and have so far been putting lack of explosions down to my not owning a hamster.
