A new sheep, as invented by [livejournal.com profile] cardinalsin:

In the future, scientists will be able to resurrect human beings - but not using DNA. Instead, they will rebuild you from the collective memories of people who know you.

So: Please post a comment describing one thing you know about me. Preferably something interesting, but factual. One day internet archaeologists will use this information to bring me back to life, so make sure what you say is accurate!

Oh yeah, then post this to your journal. Go on, you know you want to.

You have a marmite fetish.

Being something of a goth at times, you have several collars, at least one of which is an over the top, full neck one.

This was very useful when you were suffering from whiplash as it meant that you had something that was effectively a neckbrace but more fashionable to wear whilst on holiday

Bzzzt.

Factually inaccurate.

You are far too fond of that muck that goes by the name of "Marmite".

But is the factually accurate version as interesting?

Are you in league (http://www.livejournal.com/users/venta/126215.html?thread=1755911#t1755911) with [livejournal.com profile] wimble ?

You are fond of fruit cake, even when it's just the slightly singed and misshapen bits that over-flowed in the oven.

(At least, I believe that was how we met? :-)

I did. the collective memories of people who know you.

So, I'm afraid, you get to come back as we remember you, not as you remember you.

You believe that Christmas cake goes with Wensleydale and cannot be persuaded otherwise.

Er... er...
I don't think I remember that bit (though it's quite true, so maybe I've just forgotten). Where/when d'you think this happened ?

I think I met you at a joint party you and [livejournal.com profile] grahamb had in Cambridge 3ish years ago. I could believe I'd met you before that, though.

Of course I am :) Hurrah for Wensleydale and cake, and people who realise this :)

Bah. I'm complaining to [livejournal.com profile] cardinalsin that there's a bug in his sheep.

Hmm... well, if enough people's memories contradict [livejournal.com profile] wimble, then you should be safe. Perhaps you should run a poll enquiring whether people think you have a marmite fetish?

Alright, if you insist

You're ability to get out and have fun is only limited by your ability to keep track of it.

Alright, I admit, that's not a limiting factor either.

(contrast this with this)

Ah, you could be right; I seem to remember turning up to a pub in Oxford (The Cricketer's Arms) with bits of fruitcake!

[livejournal.com profile] grahamb and I didn't quite manage a party as such, it was more of a gathering at the KSR. Apparently I met lots of people that ngiht, and had no memory of them whatsoever later!

If you follow his advice, it's likely there'll be a tick as well...

From: [identity profile] venta.livejournal.com
Er, well, I could easily believe I went to the Cricketers and greedily munched up somebody else's cake. Especially if you remember me ranting about Wensleydale at the time (see below), it was definitely me :)

Can we compromise and saw we met at the Cricketer's Runs, with Grahamb and a fruitcake ?

You.

GrahamB _is_ a fruitcake, so that resolves that! :-)
For some reason, the Cricketer's Runs sounds to me like a medical ailment, of the sort not to be discussed in polite company. Oh dear...

If I make fruitcake for my next tea party, will you come? :-)
