Today I am tidying my room. It is very dull.
However, Andy cooked me dinner and I got to watch Brainiacs while I ate it and drank a pint of Spitfire. So it's not all bad.

I seem to be better at drinking wine than beer. And my ability to drink either varies quite a lot from day to day.

I think I'm probably destined to drink "not much" for a significant proportion of the rest of my days, though.

Well wine isn't too bad.

I guess you'd make a great designated driver for people. Will do wonders for your popularity if your prepared to drive folks miles to go to a club (not that you need your popularity boosting anyway).

Yesterday now, I was waiting for a call from ITSD to tell me when I can go in to OUP and switch all the servers back on. It was very tedious. Noone has phoned. Andy did n't cook me dinner. I'm watching a Conan the Librarian flick that has Grace Jones in it, which is plain daft. And needless to say I'm drinking wine;)

Sorry :( I've completely failed to drum up any interest whatsoever among friends, so it's had to go up for sale. No interest on ebay as yet, so I may yet be giving it away free to someone.

I can deliver your ticket on the 1st. Do you have any forecast as to your state of sleepiness (or indeed hungriness) on that evening ? I was planning to go and get my neck unknotted after work, but can shift that and come to yours straight from work if you're going to be in danger of dozing off or something. Could also bring dinner-shaped objects if appropriate.

There will be a danger of my dozing off, which is why it's of crucial importance that I stay awake until the evening and then sit around eating beignets until a reasonable bedtime instead of going to sleep during the day, waking up at some weird-ass time, not sleeping that night and generally descending into jetlaggy doom.

Dinner-shaped objects sound like a fine plan, thank you kindly.
