Strange music...

ventaI went to see The Two Towers last night... no reviews, as everyone and their dog has written one, already, and I don't have anything interesting to say. It was large, it was epic, bits of it were very pretty.
However... sitting in the cinema waiting for the trailers to start, there was music playing vaguely in the background. And sandwiched between a peculiar cover of Tears For Fears' Mad World, and some charty-sounding nonsense, there was The Pixies' Where Is My Mind?.
Now, I'm not complaining. Far from it, it's a song I'm immensely fond of. But it seems like a strange choice for background music in a cinema. Has it recently been used in a film, or something?
