Is (a) bad? Bath's quite a nice place to visit. When you book, they ask you a little about your book tastes then so they can assign you someone who will hopefully avoid (b). I did seem to have tastes quite well-aligned with Ed, though I don't know if that was good luck (or in fact that I am the lowest common denominator of reading).
